Beach Picnic

Whether you choose Cathedral Cove, Hot Water Beach just an hour North of Whangamata or the Bushland Park Lodge’s guests’ preferred beach at Opoutere (see photo) a picnic at the beach is something unique in your experience collection.
Reinhard prepares a picnic custom made to your wishes: Standard with Sandwiches & Fruit & Water or Juice, or luxurious decadent with Bubbly Champagnoise Wine, Juice and home made Pasta Salad and smoked Salmon and Cold Cuts with Ciabatta Bread.

Sea Kayaking or Stand up Paddle surfing (SuP) to Whenuakura Island (or Donut Island – containing a collapsed blow hole which has formed a small beach inside the island – hence the alternative name) is fun for couples who love the beach and white sand. Kayak-Tour guides are available if required.
