Luxury of Silence in Bushland Park
This uniquely landscaped property offers five acres (two hectares) of park like grounds with New Zealand Rainforest bush and well manicured gardens.
At the centre of the grounds, close to the water-lily pond is a 300 year old twin Kauri tree, which features in the Lodge’s logo. The outdoor bath area for those romantically inclined is well hidden for total privacy. The organic vegetable garden is Petra’s hobby and supports Reinhard’s demand for high quality produce in his cuisine. For artistically minded guests, there is an onsite glass fusion art studio to see.
Guests will be captivated by the tranquillity and peace at the Lodge, interrupted only by the natural sounds of the wind, river and birds - so rare in the hustle and bustle of the 21st century.
Bird lovers will find a magnificent array of New Zealand native birds alongside immigrant European and Australian species to study and enjoy. For more in-depth information, a special ornithological day trip can be organised with the Kiwi Dundee guides.
To help you enjoy your time on holiday, just recline on one of the lounge chairs to read a book or relax and await the arrival of your massage therapist to pamper you either indoors or out in the summer breeze.
