The “golden timber” Black Forest atmosphere in this room, with its individual tables, makes this area the preferred breakfast setting. The cosy window corner next to the fire place is an invitation for reading or pre-dinner lounging.
The Black Forest style breakfast with a selection of breads, cold cuts and cheeses is complimented by the southern German bacon and eggs speciality “Speckeier”, Speck being a cold smoked bacon, which is chopped finely, adding its full flavour to the scrambled eggs.
The ambiance transferred from Reinhard and Petra’s birthplace in Germany’s Black Forest, infused in the New Zealand way of life in their new home, has created a truly unique atmosphere.
